My name is Andrea Merredew, I'm a calgary based eco jewellery designer and mixed media artist. For the past 25 years I've been involved in social and environmental justice work and art has been an important part of my journey. With over 16 years experience in eco jewellery design, I bring a blend of technical expertise and creative innovation to each piece that I create. My jewellery tells a story about the land and challenges the status quo. It reminds people that they are part of the earth and raises awareness about climate change, deforestation and plastic pollution. The wood, bark, seeds, stones and wild clay that I use are sustainably harvested or salvaged in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. It’s like carrying a piece of the forest with you wherever you go.
My Earth Art Jewellery collection has been sold at the Leighton Art Centre Gallery Shop since 2019. I currently release a new pendant each season and a new collection every spring.

I also create opportunities for people to connect with the earth and themselves through art and currently offer mixed media workshops, facilitate monthly gatherings in the forest called Tribe & Fire and lead an online creative community called Back To Earth. You can read my eco arts blog and sign up for my monthly newsletter.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you find something that you love.
